Your family portrait should have a timeless quality and be as lovely years from now as it is today.  This quality is achieved through clothing selection, the setting, subject expression, and use of props.

The portrait location can either be a classic studio setting, a local beach or your home.  When choosing an outdoor setting we need to plan the photography at a time of day when the sun is not too harsh; either early in the morning or late in the afternoon.
